Your New Frontier (Excerpt), 2025

Your New Frontier is an experimental video visualizing every kilogram of plastic waste the United States exports abroad. The gossamer object floats in space and grows at a glacial pace, its form shifting with each passing second. The accompanying audio is sonified numerical values from the same dataset layered on top of excerpts of two films on plastic production from the mid 20th century.
